A. Alberto Lugo is the visionary founder and CEO of Framing Futures Architectural Firm (FFAF), which has been based in Southern California since its inception in 2019. His role at FFAF involves overseeing the daily operations and guiding the design processes for the firm's extensive project portfolio. Together with a team of executive board members, he spearheads the recruitment of talented architects, orchestrating the creation of innovative commercial and public buildings grounded in the principles of modern architectural engineering.

Prior to founding FFAF, Alberto had a prosperous career in architecture, spanning over a decade with leading firms such as Parkins and Rhodon in New York and Fentrell Architects in San Francisco. His tenure in the field began at Macaby and Roy, where he ascended from a Senior Architectural Design Strategist to a Senior Architect after an initial internship. He also played a pivotal role as the Project Architect at a firm established by his father in Albany, NY, where he first joined in 2002.

Lugo's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Business from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. A career shift followed, and he earned a Master of Architecture from Cornell University in 2002, graduating with distinction. His commitment to continuous learning saw him return to Cornell in 2003 to deepen his expertise in environmentally conscious building practices.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous high-profile architectural projects. Notable among these was his collaboration with the San Francisco Historic Buildings Committee in 2012 to renovate various public service areas and his work in 2015 with the Hagman's Group of NYC to create a pioneering sustainable structure. His design contributions at Parkins and Rhodon included a significant shopping center, a multi-story house of worship, and partnerships with urban development teams to produce affordable housing, including impactful work in Eastchester, NY.
